Smile Dental Practice Private Guarantee

All fillings placed by our dentists are guaranteed for a minimum of 2 years. Our crowns, bridges veneers and implant restorations are guaranteed for a minimum of 5 years. (Denplan patients only, otherwise 1 year gurantee for all other patients)

These guarantees are conditional on the following basis:

  • Regular visits to the dentists for routine dental examination as recommended (1-2 times a year) and regular visits to the hygienist as prescribed (2-4 times a year).
  • Splint wearing as recommended by your dentist e.g. for complex crown and bridge work, or veneers on anterior teeth to help protect from destructive grinding habits.
  • Wearing of mouth guards for contact sports.

The guarantees do not cover the following:

  • Damage to any restoration due to external trauma.
  • Failure to adhere to good home care and hygiene.
  • Any restoration that was provided against the specific advice of the dentist.
